Effective sustaining leadership is…

Action not position
Influence not power
Character not charisma
Integrity not intelligence
Inspiration not domination
Sacrifice not reward
Serving not being served
Relationships not acquaintances
Building up not tearing down
Humility not pride
About others not you
About needs not wants
About giving not getting

  1. Might I suggest “Character not Compromise”? Charisma is an equally important leadership skill that builds people up, making them feel like they’re the smartest person in the room. Christ’s charisma is what drew thousands to hear his teachings. It encourages people to buy into the leader’s vision of their own free will. I would also suggest “Charisma not Conscription”.
